The Friday between our welcome and wedding happens to fall on Sant Jordi — the most celebrated day in the Catalan calendar. Across the city, streets and plazas are lined with roses and books, given as tokens of love and friendship. Bookshops open their doors to the sidewalk, flower vendors fill the ramblas, and the whole city seems to be outside.

We’ve left the day free intentionally. Explore, wander, eat well. It’s one of the most alive days of the year in Barcelona, and we’re glad you’ll be here to see it.

The celebration will take place both indoors and outdoors. While April weather is typically mild, evenings can become cool, and we recommend bringing a light layer.
